Project Overview

As part of my Brand Management capstone course, I analyzed Blank Street as a “hot/cool brand” trending in March 2025, exploring what drove its relevance.

Using a mix of brand, media, and consumer research, I drew from:

  • The Blank Street mission statement

  • The New York Times Food

  • Kantar/Vivvix/MediaRadar

  • Social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram)

    • USP + UGC

  • UK publications such as Fabric Academy and Strand Magazine

  • Forbes

I examined the company’s positioning, target customer, biggest competitors, funding, and growth trajectory, then closed with a realistic forecast of the next 5 years, including a list of strategic recommendations for sustaining the momentum beyond the microtrend life cycle.

Blank Street was valued at $500 million with roughly $149 million in revenue in 2025.
